Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS PROPERTY STAGING?
Selling your home can often be a stressful and overwhelming process and sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin.
Professionally staging your home is a great step towards removing some of the stress and getting the selling process moving.
We bring to your property all furniture, furnishings and accessories to compliment your home in readiness for your professional photo/video shoot, open inspections and sales campaign.
Staged homes predominately sell faster and at better prices as it helps prospective buyers envisage what their new home could potentially look like.
Grace Home Staging offer a prompt, reliable and affordable service using our large range of high-quality furniture, furnishings and accessories.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF HOME STAGING?
After initial contact, we attend your property for our free consultation and inspection to enable us to provide you with a comprehensive quote.
Upon acceptance, we confirm a staging date and then bring the furniture, furnishings and accessories to your property, stage it beautifully, and collect it at the end of the sales campaign, all hassle free.
HOW MUCH DOES PROPERTY STAGING COST?
This will depend on whether it is a full or partial staging. Our prices vary depending on what is required.
It includes the cost of selections, packing, installation, staging, hire and removalists.
Our initial consultations are free of charge.
HOW LONG IS YOUR STANDARD HIRE PERIOD?
Our standard hire period is 6 weeks. Extensions will be offered if required.
CAN I REMAIN AT THE PROPERTY ON THE STAGING DAY?
We request that the Owner, Tenants, Agents and Animals not be present during the day.
This is simply because we then don't get in each other's way and clients don't get overwhelmed during the process.
We can also then work so much more confidently and productively to achieve the deadlines required.
CAN YOU STORE MY FURNITURE FOR THE DURATION OF THE SALES CAMPAIGN?
No, we do not offer storage. We recommend looking up local storage facilities in your area.
CAN I CHOOSE THE FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES FOR MY PROPERTY STAGING?
Whilst we understand that clients would like to be part of the process of the staging, we would like to emphasize the importance of trusting our professional stylists to select the appropriate furniture, furnishings and accessories to compliment your home.
Our stylists are always selecting to appeal to the broadest market and to help present your home in its best light.
Clients must remember that their house is being staged to attract buyers, photograph beautifully and ultimately sell successfully, and this may not always appeal to their own taste.
Now is a great time to detach from your home and leave the hard work to us!
HOW DO GRACE HOME STAGING MAKE SELECTIONS FOR PROPERTY STAGING?

IF MY PROPERTY SELLS BEFORE THE STANDARD 6 WEEK STAGING PERIOD IS FINISHED, DO I GET A REFUND ON MY STAGING?
Unfortunately, no. Once staging is completed, our job is done. If you sell your home sooner than our standard 6 weeks, we will simply remove it earlier if required.
CAN I USE SOME OF MY OWN FURNTIURE FOR STAGING?
